Taking minutes to review digital dashboard alerts ensures reminders remain current.

Tyres demand particular scrutiny. Pressure levels, found on a sticker inside the driver’s door or in the owner’s manual, should match manufacturer specifications. Under-inflated tyres risk overheating and blowouts, hazards especially dangerous on scorching desert highways. Tread depth requires inspection for signs of wear, bulges or cracks. The spare tyre warrants equal attention, though many are designed for emergencies only and cannot sustain extended driving.

The vehicle’s fluid systems require comprehensive attention. Engine oil, coolant, brake fluid and power steering fluid must all reach optimal levels and remain clean.
