AIM Intelligence Inks AI Security Deal With Abu Dhabi's CPX

Korean AI security vendor gains UAE market access through CPX partnership

AIM Intelligence has signed a memorandum of understanding with CPX Holding, an Abu Dhabi-based cybersecurity firm, securing a foothold in one of the world’s fastest-growing AI security markets, the South Korean company said on the 13th. The deal pairs AIM Intelligence’s AI security technology with CPX’s cybersecurity capabilities, local market access and customer network, forming the commercial core of the partnership.

For AIM Intelligence, the agreement is a route into a market where demand is being driven at the national level. The company plans to run technology trials with CPX for UAE businesses and public agencies and to identify AI security business opportunities. The two companies will first select target industries and customers, then assess the interoperability of their technologies through architecture and integration workshops to draw up joint development projects.

The cooperation spans eight areas, including building a market entry strategy, discussing technology demonstrations and proof-of-concept tests, reviewing business models, and jointly developing AI cybersecurity solutions.

CPX brings considerable weight to the arrangement. Founded in 2022, the firm is an affiliate of G42 (Group 42), a leading UAE artificial intelligence company. It employs more than 600 security specialists and provides cyber and physical security solutions and services to companies, government agencies and critical infrastructure operators inside and outside the UAE. That customer base and market reach is precisely what AIM Intelligence lacks in the region, and what the Korean firm hopes to convert into adoption of its own products.

Meanwhile, AIM Intelligence intends to deploy its automated red-teaming solution Stinger and its real-time guardrail solution Starport in trials tailored to local customer demand, with the aim of expanding adoption of its solutions across the Middle East. The company’s push into the region has been building for some time. It won the Supernova Challenge, a global startup competition held at GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai last year, and in June this year was selected for an accelerator program run by Presight, a UAE artificial intelligence company. It is also receiving support for its Middle East expansion, including introductions to local networks, from the Middle East office of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

The commercial logic of the pact is straightforward: a young Korean security vendor gains access to an established buyer network and a national market committed to AI adoption, while CPX adds specialised AI security technology to its portfolio. “The UAE is a market where the importance of AI security is growing rapidly, because the country is pursuing AI adoption at the national level,” said Yoo Sang-yoon, chief executive of AIM Intelligence. “Working with CPX, which leads the local cybersecurity market, we will help Middle Eastern customers adopt and operate AI safely, and use this agreement as a springboard to accelerate our push into the global AI security market.”

Whether the trials convert into contracts across the Gulf will be the test of whether this partnership can move from memorandum to revenue.
